Week 4 of the hydroponic system and its definitely looking good. The basil finally decided to make an appearance. The left side is growing rapidly with the coriander and dill doing fantastic and little sage in the middle is doing good but probably needs to be put in another slot to have space to grow for the light to reach. Still no sign of the spinach or oregano and its been 2 weeks so will look into what else to grow. Maybe try another variety of basil and give chamomile a second go.
Day 55/365
Trying out some ear muffs as we anticipate some upcoming plans this year and slowly getting Triple V ready and finding the gear to protect his ears. These ear muffs are seriously adorable. I can’t help but hope that it does muffle sounds since our little one.
Day 54/365
Little baby hands are getting bigger. I wanted to take a cool picture of Triple V spinning the little ball on his toy but my phone camera probably isn’t that sophisticated and he just didn’t want to do it. Camera shy and all apparently.
Day 53/365
Made some shawarma meatballs this weekend and the oil from the meat after being in the oven gave it a very odd shape. That peaked the desire to take a picture to realize that the photo balance is completely out of whack.
Day 52/365
Its a tad blurry but its more the moment where Triple V definitely feels a lot more grown up with his sitting independently and about to reach his mobile which is also another to-do to take off the mobile soon.
Day 51/365
My poinsettia has been with us since a few years back and its been doing pretty well. Other than not really understanding that its bloom season should be during Christmas, its been so beautiful to see the plant turn red.
Day 50/365
Kicking off this week fashionably late with a nice and bright photo of the bloomed orchids. To be fair, the fact this orchid is growing is pretty awesome since a few months ago, I was really struggling with keeping it alive after we had shifted the plants around and it was having a hard time adapting to it new location.
Day 49/365
Week 3 of hydropronic system! Things are definitely growing. After replacing the seeds for basil, oregano and what used to be chamomile and is now spinach, no sign of any germination yet. Everything is growing well except mustard looks like its starting to die with lemon balm pretty stagnant. Luckily, lemon balm was never my goal since I had an overgrowth of that in the garden already. We will keep trying basil until it works.
Day 48/365
Take 2 of the orchids as they start to bloom. I really do love taking pictures of plants. Orchids are the only thing that grows well in my house but this time is less than usual. I do love the purple color. Take 3 with its full bloom is coming up probably after both of them have bloomed.
Day 47/365
I didn’t realize the beets were photographed so badly until I was looming at it again. However, its what we have. It also serves as a reminder that I should eat more beets as they are so delicious. Plus, then I can do a take 2 of this. Perhaps vegetables in general might be fun to photograph.
