Day 51/365

My poinsettia has been with us since a few years back and its been doing pretty well. Other than not really understanding that its bloom season should be during Christmas, its been so beautiful to see the plant turn red.

Day 48/365

Take 2 of the orchids as they start to bloom. I really do love taking pictures of plants. Orchids are the only thing that grows well in my house but this time is less than usual. I do love the purple color. Take 3 with its full bloom is coming up probably after both of them have bloomed.

Day 41/365

I saw this little cute vase of flowers at my mom’s and took a quick snapshot. The colors really had a nice pop. Nothing too fancy but the colors are so vibrant from the mix of forsythias, carnations and daisies.

I did a little trimming of what was still good from the bouquet and put it into a decorative mason jar. I actually played a bit with the pro feature on the phone and starting to figure it out better on what to adjust and how it impacts the photo.

Day 25/365

I keep forgetting to take a picture of the lilies in the daytime so here’s a shot of them on the evening under the lights. The only time our house has lilies since they are super pretty but incredibly fragrant.

Whenever we get a bouquet of flowers, I just can’t help to take a lot of different pictures. Still playing with the pro feature on the phone to capture a more natural white balance and iso setting. Here’s what came of it. It definitely won’t be the last of this bouquet.

I don’t know which to pick but last night as I was tidying the place, I thought about any photo attempt with colorful toys. The first is the Oball. I might do another with with the overlap of all the colors. That might look really fun. The second is with a colorful rattle and sensory toy. Its a complete coincidence that I used the pink loop over the bouquet with a similar color.

Day 18/365

Chinese New Year is right around the corner so time for buying flowers. They didn’t really have exactly what I wanted but we are way too tight on time nowadays to go multiple locations for flowers so I chose these ones. It turned out really pretty and I can see it look even better once the lilies bloom.
